For Denver’s youngest residents, Patti’s donations to the Newborns in Need program provided “Warm Welcome” bags filled with essential supplies for new families. The program, which will soon be renamed Hello, Little One, continues to ensure every baby is greeted with care and compassion. One father shared, “The warm welcome bag was the nicest thing anyone has done for us as new parents.” With half of Denver’s babies born at Denver Health, gifts like these ripple outward to strengthen the community.
Patti and Connie have also cared for those who care for others. Their support of RESTORE, a peer-support program for Denver Health employees, has provided thousands of moments of emotional and psychological aid to frontline staff.
