Denver Health Foundation Launches New Giving Circle

In this Story:

Denver Health cares for women and families at every stage of life. Now, through a new giving circle at Denver Health Foundation, supporters have another way to come together to advance high-quality health care for these populations.

The Women for Life’s Journey Giving Circle brings women together to pool their philanthropy, with the goal of strengthening the health and well-being of women and children. Through shared giving, advocacy, and connection, members help support programs that make a meaningful difference for patients and families across Denver.

For Denver Health Foundation, the giving circle is also an opportunity to connect around a shared purpose. It offers a way for supporters to learn more about Denver Health and invest in areas of care that can be harder to fund through traditional sources alone.

Why It Matters

Women for Life’s Journey is designed to shine a light on programs that are essential to community health while building stronger support around them. Early areas of focus include efforts such as Infant Mental Health and the Cancer Screening Mobile Health Center, programs that reach people in practical, personal, and often life-changing ways.

That combination of learning, giving, and engagement is part of what makes giving circles a distinct approach to philanthropy. Members not only contribute resources. They also help raise awareness, build momentum, and champion care that reaches beyond what traditional funding can sustain alone.

“Women for Life’s Journey reflects the power of women coming together to improve and change lives,” said Donna Lynne, Chief Executive Officer of Denver Health. “The initiative creates valuable opportunities to engage with and contribute to programs that uplift women, children, and families across our community.”

What's Next

The name Women for Life’s Journey reflects a broad vision of support through every chapter of life. It also reflects the many ways philanthropy can help expand access to care, strengthen vital programs, and create lasting impact for our neighbors.

As the Women for Life’s Journey Giving Circle begins its work, Denver Health Foundation looks forward to sharing more about its members, its priorities, and the programs it will help advance.

“This giving circle is an invitation to be part of something larger,” said Dr. Leela Mundra, a member of the Women for Life’s Journey Leadership Committee. “When people come together in support of women and families, they help create lasting impact across Denver.”
