As Annual Giving Officer at Denver Health Foundation, Taylor Atkinson works to strengthen philanthropic support for Denver Health through donor engagement, stewardship, and annual giving initiatives. In his role, he is helping build and expand the Foundation’s grateful patient and employee giving programs, creating meaningful opportunities for patients, families, caregivers, and staff members to support Denver Health’s mission of providing exceptional care to every patient, regardless of their ability to pay.
Taylor brings more than a decade of fundraising and donor relations experience to Denver Health Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served as Donor Relations Manager at Denver Scholarship Foundation, where he developed donor stewardship strategies, managed multi-channel fundraising campaigns, and launched a recurring giving program. His previous experience also includes fundraising roles with Colorado Symphony and Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Taylor is a Colorado native who studied creative writing and music performance at Colorado Mesa University and Metropolitan State University of Denver. When he’s not at work, he enjoys listening to audiobooks at 2x speed, experimenting with homemade ice cream flavors, and chasing after his kids with his wife and dog as they explore the great outdoors together.
