Menal, a Colorado native who recently returned home after more than five years in D.C., brings diverse experience in capacity-building for progressive nonprofits. She has spent eight years advancing mission-driven work across a variety of fields, including LGBTQ+ advocacy and human rights, higher education access, data privacy and AI governance, and more. As a values-driven professional motivated by connection and equity, Menal is thrilled to bring her broad experience in nonprofit development back to her home state and to Denver Health.
In and out of work, Menal is a connector who finds real joy in bringing people together and creating welcoming spaces for her community. She loves dance, combining classical Indian dance with Western styles, and serves as the resident choreographer for her friends’ weddings. Menal also has a lifelong passion for travel and new experiences and looks forward to returning to the mountains, exploring more of Colorado, and discovering new places around the world.
