Hollis Salway is a dedicated social impact professional with significant experience at nonprofit organizations ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups challenging conventional models to established institutions whose services provide critical services for our communities. Throughout her career, Hollis has been motivated by the desire to bridge the gap between nonprofit organizations delivering programs and services and the generous individuals and institutions that invest in that work. She has helped to grow multiple organizations from local to national scale, taking on progressive leadership roles and championing a focus on learning and evaluation for better outcomes and deeper insight about what works. By working toward missions ranging from arts in education, to talent development, to youth development, to workforce and education alignment, Hollis has amassed a comprehensive understanding of the ways in which strategic, mission-aligned funding allows us to tackle some of society’s most persistent challenges. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of mutually beneficial cross-sector collaboration for strengthening our safety net, supporting those in our community aspiring to economic mobility, and making our communities better places to live and work. After nearly a decade of helping to grow and lead national teams, Hollis is thrilled to return to service to her chosen home of 15 years, Denver, where she lives with her husband and two children. Hollis holds a BA from Harvard University and enjoys being outdoors, reading and writing short stories, and trying all the newest Denver restaurants.
