Charles “Chuck” Cook devoted over thirty years providing financial services and financing support for governmental and nonprofit organizations. He opened and managed regional public finance offices for Morgan Stanley in Denver and Chicago. In 2005, he opened the Denver office and assisted public and nonprofit organizations in the southwest raise over $20 billion for important public projects, including higher education, medical research, transportation, and other infrastructure projects. Chuck also worked for the University of Colorado as Associate Treasurer, completing over $3 billion of financing, coordinating capital planning, including Green Bonds, cost-saving cash and investment management practices for the University’s four campuses.
Chuck was first introduced to Denver Health when a family member was admitted to the hospital through the emergency department during an especially busy holiday evening. The range and complexity of the medical and human conditions the ER department dealt with that evening motivated Chuck to be a continuing philanthropic supporter of Denver Heath Foundation. Mr. Cook continues as a primary health care patient of Denver Health.
Chuck earned his AB in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He also received an Executive Scholar Certificate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Chuck lives in Denver with his wife Annie Lynch. He loves to ski, and he supports public and mental health and higher education entities.
