Mark Davidson joined blue onion in 2010 and is the Director of Business Development. Prior to blue onion, he was the Director of Donor Relations for Mile High United Way. Mark began his professional career in the Governor Owens administration and later worked at Qwest Communications for the President of Colorado, assisting with state/local government public policy and business development initiatives across the state.
A 5th generation Coloradoan, Mark is very active in the Denver community. In 2011, Mark was recognized as a ‘Forty under 40’ award winner by the Denver Business Journal. He was also nominated and selected as a 2011 ColoradoBiz Magazine GenXYZ Award Winner-Top 25 Young Professionals in Colorado.
Mark is an Impact Denver graduate and serves on the Programs and Events Committee for the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. At the Denver Chamber, he also serves as a Chamber Ambassador and is a member of the Healthcare Committee.
Currently, he serves on the Denver Health Foundation’s Level One Society Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Denver Zoo and Arc Thrift Store Corporate Committees. Mark has been volunteering at Mount Saint Vincent Home as a athletic coach since 2007,and taught classes for Junior Achievement in Denver Public Schools from 2003-2007. Mark previously served on the University of Northern Colorado Board of Trustees and Alumni Association Board of Directors, Colorado Workforce Development Council-State Youth Council and Jefferson County Open Space Advisory Committee.
Mark is pursuing his master’s degree full time at the University of Denver in Marketing and Strategic Healthcare Management. He attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
